Originally from the Bay Area, I initially realized my passion for photography while taking a film photography class at Los Gatos High School, and that passion led me to continue my studies at Cal State University, Long Beach, where I graduated with a BA in Studio Art (photography) and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship. During and after college, I worked with two established Los Angeles and Orange County based wedding photographers, and they helped shape me into the photographer that I am today. In October 2012, my then-boyfriend (now fiancé!) and I moved to Maui, and absolutely love calling this magical island our home. We live in the peaceful jungle of Haiku with our cat, Kaia, and can’t wait to start the next chapter of our lives together, when we get married in 2018!
I love working with couples who value a genuine connection with their wedding photographer, as I always strive to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera, and I feel that building a connection with one another before the wedding day helps to achieve that. Most of my clients share a love of natural beautiful light, and consider wedding photography to be one of the more important aspects of their special day (besides marrying the one they love and being surrounded by their family & friends, of course!). My clients are typically down to earth and kind, and have a timeless, romantic, boho chic, or whimsical style. They also love to laugh with one another and don’t shy away from lots of kisses & affection from their fiancé.
Being a part of my clients’ wedding planning process is a pleasure for me, and something that I really enjoy taking part in, so I am always happy to help and answer any questions that my clients may have along their wedding planning journey.
Mahalo, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you so much!

AKA: Mikey or Happy Mike :) We met in San Clemente, CA in 2010, and have been together ever since. He is the most consistently positive, genuinely happy, funny, considerate, and supportive person that I know, and I feel so grateful that we found each other.
She is our 4 year old tabby cat that we rescued as a kitten, from the Maui Humane Society. Although very independent the first few years of her life, she has finally discovered how much she enjoys snuggling with us ;)
I have been a Sharks fan for the past 18 years and yes, I'm still waiting for that Stanley Cup! ;) Some might even say that I was a "bit obsessed" back in the day, haha. Even though I can't regularly attend the games in person anymore, I still watch every single televised Sharks game that I can here on Maui :)
Could there BE a better sitcom?!
I love love, so it's no surprise that my favorite shape is a heart!
Maui is such a beautiful and magical island, and I can't believe how lucky
I am to call this special place my home.
