Olowalu Plantation House Wedding | Maui, HI

I had the honor of photographing Catherine and Nick’s beautiful wedding at one of my very favorite Maui wedding venues, Olowalu Plantation House! 🙂

It was a sunny day on Maui as the bridal party began getting ready for the day. I especially loved the bridesmaids’ robes and cute glasses they enjoyed their drinks in while getting ready – you could tell everyone was so relaxed and having the BEST time! 🙂

One of my favorite moments of the day happened before the ceremony even began. Catherine and Nick wrote their own personal vows, with a twist! They opted to read their personal vows privately to one another just after their First Look, which I found to be a very sweet alternative to reading personal vows during a ceremony. They also both picked out the same exact card to write their vows on, which is a clear sign that they were definitely meant to be 😉

The day continued on flawlessly, with a ceremony as perfect as the couple! I absolutely adored the circular ceremony set-up that the girls at Bespoke Destination Events put together – it was so unique and beautiful, you have to check it out in the gallery below!

The rest of the evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, laughing, dancing the night away, and a grand sparkler exit to wish the newlyweds a perfect ending on their most perfect day! 🙂

First Look moments with their private personal vows to one another:

The theme behind their tulip escort cards was: “If friends were flowers, we’d pick you!” which I thought was an adorable idea the girls at Bespoke Destination Events came up with! 🙂

Could not get enough of these adorable mini pineapple bundt cakes for their dessert table – such a unique and beautiful dessert idea for a tropical wedding in Hawaii! 🙂
