Tropical Olowalu Plantation Wedding | Maui, HI

August 22, 2019

Penny + Nick:

Penny and Nick’s Tropical Olowalu Plantation Wedding took place a few days before Christmas and was a festive and bohemian celebration down to every last detail — the color scheme, the invitation, the florals, and of course Penny’s perfectly boho wedding dress. I loved their laid-back low table settings for the younger crowd too, which were adorned with fun pillows and blankets from Vintage Kantha here on Maui. The florals were bright and tropical, beautifully complementing their boho style. Penny’s stunning floral crown was also inspired by Frida Kahlo and it suited her perfectly.

These two were one of the most relaxed couples I’ve had the pleasure of photographing and were so in love. Their First Look was the sweetest ever, with Nick shedding a few tears after seeing his beautiful bride 🙂 Moreover, they ended up getting pregnant right after the wedding and are now expecting their first child next month! 🙂

The day went off without a hitch thanks to Ali of Maui’s Angels and I’m happy to announce that Penny and Nick’s gorgeous day was featured on Pacific Weddings too, which you can view here. Happy Summer, everyone, and I hope you enjoy their tropical and vibrant wedding below!
